Colonie squeaked by Saratoga 53-45 to move on to the Class AA final four in Glens Falls vs Gree Tech on Tuesday, March 3.. The Garnet Raiders relied on their solid second half play as they led at the end of the third frame and at the final whistle. Brendan Coyle swished a three pointer at the third quarter buzzer to give Colonie a five point lead heading into the final frame.
The two squads struggled to grab a foothold as the teams went to the first half break with Colonie out in front.
Colonie played solid as a rock in the second quarter turning a 4-point first quarter deficit into a 2-point halftime edge.
The Garnet Raiders had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Brendan Coyle paced the Garnet Raiders with 13 points. Ashon Wright racked up 12 points. Logan Scott finished with 12 points. Marcus Shelton tallied 8 points. Victor Pharr contributed 8 points.

Aidan Holmes led the Blue Streaks with 14 points. Chris Dufort contributed 11 points. Bryce Emery scored 7 points. Michael Rogan finished with 6 points.
