Saratoga beats Averill Park 70-65 behind Kerry Flaherty's 29 points.

-Averill Park jumped out to a 13-7 lead after an Olivia Kelley basket with 1:43 left in the 1Q. Saratoga called time and an Amanda McGinn three-pointer cuts the deficit to 3 (13-10) at the end of the quarter.

-The game goes back and forth for most of the 2Q until about just under 3:00 left when Saratoga starts to take control, behind Kerry Flaherty, and opens up a 9 point lead at the break (37-28)

-Saratoga takes its largest lead of the night, 15 points, (50-35) with 2:00 left in the 3Q. Averill Park fights back to close the quarter on an 8-0 run to trail 50-43 heading into the final period.

-Averill Park cuts the lead to 2 points after a Kelsey Wood basket, 57-55, with 3:28 left in the game. Saratoga's Dolly Cairns immediately responds with a basket to put the Blue Streaks back up 4. The Warriors Amelia Wood again cuts the deficit to 2 with a basket with 2:30 left in the game. After a timeout Dolly Cairns hits another big bucket for Saratoga to push the lead back to 4 and Kerry Flaherty hits a clutch basket to put Saratoga up 6. Back to back hoops by Mallory Wood and Olivia Kelly of Averill Park cuts the deficit to 2 with under a minute left. Cairns again comes up big by knocking down 2 free throws. Saratoga holds on for a 70-65 win.

-Kerry Flaherty finishes with a game high 29 points for Saratoga. Kelsey Wood paces Averill Park with 18.
