-Averill Park captured their sixth straight Class A title game beating Queensbury 50-41 at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy.
-Averill Park's tough team defense was once again the star of the show as they limited easy looks and virtually nothing for Queensbury in transition. The Warriors led at every quarter point and at one point had their lead at 13 points, 31-18, midway through the 3rd quarter. Queensbury fought back in the fourth quarter and eventually cut the Averill Park lead to six points, 44-38, with under two minutes left in the game but couldn't get it any closer.
-Averill Park was led in scoring by Kelsey Wood with 14 points. Olivia Kelley and Anna Jankovic both added 9 points.
-Hope Sullivan paced Queensbury with 13 points. Hailey Ballard netted 12 points.
