Green Tech nosed past Mekeel 75-61 in a non-league tilt.
Green Tech used a monster second half to break open a close game that featured 10 early lead changes and collected the victory. The Eagles outscored the Lions 52-35 after halftime.

Green Tech held a slight 4-point advantage at the start of the fourth quarter. This duel was headed towards an epic finish through the third frame. Green Tech ended the game with authority as they outscored Mekeel by 10-points in crunch time. 

Both teams scratched and clawed to score the ball in the opening quarter as they combined for just 17 points. 
Mekeel held a slight 1-point advantage heading into the second quarter.

The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Mekeel out in front.

The Eagles put forth a team first approach that provided a spark out of the break, after they trailed at the half, and grabbed an advantage of 48-44 going into the final quarter. Back to back three pointers by Mazziah Thorpe gave Green Tech some breathing room headed into the fourth quarter.

The Eagles placed four players in double figure scoring. Dayshaun Walton paced the Eagles with 14 points. Demani Benjamin poured in 13 points. Mazziah Thorpe dropped 12 points. Justin Owens sank 10 points. Joshua Rodriguez recorded 9 points. 
Green Tech buried 6 hoops from long range. 

Alexander Barnhill led Mekeel with 22 points. Osvaldo Dejesus powered in 21 points. Richard Rollins poured in 9 points. 
Mekeel drilled 7 trifectas. 
The Lions shot with sterling accuracy from the charity stripe as they produced 66.7%, 22 of 33.
