Amsterdam slipped past New Hartford 68-59 in a non-league match up. Andie Gannon led the winners with 29 points.The Rams built on their consistent second half play as they led at the end of the the third frame and at the final buzzer. 

Amsterdam had great energy right from the tip off and started the game in style racing to a significant first quarter lead 20-14. Yet, New Hartford rallied in the second quarter and outscored Amsterdam by 6 points. 

The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half stoppage with the game tied 31-31. 

Amsterdam exhibited great effort out of the break, after a tight game at the half, which helped them capture the lead 52-46 going into the final quarter. 


Amsterdam had a quartet of players players in double figure scoring. Andie Gannon paced the Rams with 29 points. Sydney Hoefs added 14 points. Sierra Goodson scored 11 points. Jackie Stanavich finished with 10 points. 
The Rams connected on 7 buckets from beyond the arc. 
Sydney Hoefs made 4 three-pointers. Sierra Goodson added 3. 
Amsterdam shot with sterling accuracy from the free throw line as they made 70%, 7 of 10. 

New Hartford had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Kaia Henderson led the Spartans with 27 points. Sophia Murray secured 14 points. Zavia Jaime poured in 10 points.
