Troy slipped past Guilderland 71-65 in a tough as nails Section 2 basketball tilt. Jenalyse Alarcon led the victors with 25 points in a back and forth game that featured sixteen lead changes. An Alaina Holmes bucket with two minutes left in the game put Troy in front for good.

The Flying Horses produced a last period push as they eclipsed the Dutchmen 27-15 by the conclusion of the frame. That late run iced the game. 

Focused play in the second half helped as the Flying Horses outscored the Dutchmen 47-33 in the final two frames. That was reverse of the first half when the Dutchmen built a 32-24 lead at the midway point. 

Guilderland held a small 1-point lead at the beginning of the second quarter. 
The Lady Dutch played as a complete unit in the second frame turning a 1-point first quarter lead into a 8-point halftime edge. Guilderland torched the nets with six three pointers in the opening half.

The Flying Horses placed four players in double figure scoring. Jenalyse Alarcon paced the Flying Horses with 25 points. Nadia Brown contributed 15 points. Makya Chapman totaled 11 points. Alaina Holmes finished with 10 points. Jakaiya Dewer powered in 8 points. 

Valencia Fontenelle-Posson led the Lady Dutch with 25 points. Bella Gitto racked up 15 points. Graycen Dubin added 9 points. 
Guilderland splashed 7 trifectas.
