Shenendehowa seized a down to the wire victory over Averill Park 54-50 in a tough as nails (518) hoop tilt. 

The Plainsmen held a modest 1-point edge at the start of the fourth quarter. With the game tied at 50 and less than a minute remaining Shenenedehowa's Simone Walker stole an inbound pass, rushed up the court, and connected with a cutting Rylee Carpenter for the go ahead basket.

The game featured fourteen different lead changes between these two talented squads. 

Shenendehowa held a modest 1-point edge at the start of the second quarter. However, Averill Park took a 25-20 lead with two minutes remaining in the half. Meghan Huerter of Shen followed with a personal 7-0 run to give the Plainsmen a lead. 
The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half stoppage with Shenendehowa out in front. Kaitlyn Watrobski nailed a buzzer beating three pointer at the half. 

 Averill Park's was resilient throughout the contest playing the majority of the game without standout Amelia Wood who was in foul trouble.

Shenendehowa held the lead at every quarter buzzer by margins of 1, 3, 1, & 4. 

The Plainsmen had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Meghan Huerter paced the Plainsmen with 13 points. Rylee Carpenter poured in 12 points. Kaitlyn Watrobski dropped 11 points. Bella Stuart sank 6 points. 

Michelina Lombardi led the Warriors with 14 points. Amelia Wood racked up 10 points. Anna Jankovic finished with 9 points. Kelsey Wood had 9 points. Allison Lapinski popped in 8 points. 

The Warriors shot outstanding from the free throw line as they made 76.5%, 13 of 17.
