Schalmont outlasted Cobleskill 44-40 in a battle atop the Colonial Council.
Schalmont came up with a final stanza push as they bested Cobleskill 15-7 as time wound down. After trailing 38-31 with 5:46 left in the contest the Sabres closed the game on a 13-2 run.
Cobleskill held a slim 4-point margin heading into the fourth quarter.
