Waterford pulled away from Granville 64-50 in a hard fought Class C quarter final tilt. T.J. Kelley and Michael Talavera Jr combined to score 46 points for the victors. Waterford advances to the final four to play Fort Plain at the Cool Insuring Arena on 3/3/20 at 5 p.m. 

Waterford broke open a one point game leading late in the third quarter, 41-40, and outscored Granville 10-0 to close out the frame and took a 51-40 lead. 

Waterford were strong out of the gate and played excellent team basketball on their way to a decent first quarter lead 22-12. At one point the Fordians led 17-4. Yet, The Golden Horde rallied in the second quarter and outscored Waterford by 8 points.

The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Waterford gaining the upper hand. 

The Fordians were in command at every quarter buzzer by margins of 10, 2, 11, & 14. Thet never trailed in the contest. 

Waterford placed three players in double figure scoring. T.J. Kelley led Waterford with 26 points. Michael Talavera Jr powered in 20 points. Evan Fairclough poured in 11 points. 

Joshua Nelson paced the Golden Horde with 19 points. Jarett Williams added 12 points. Joshua Oakman tallied 7 points. T.J. Wilson Jr. sank 6 points. 
Granville made 5 buckets from beyond the arc. 
The Golden Horde shot with exceptional form at the free throw line as they made 81.8%, 9 of 11.
