Gloversville outlasted Queensbury 59-55 to advance in the Class A sectionals. Dante Bouchard led the Dragons with 31 points. Six of those points came late in the game on back to back three pointers that turned a 54-50 deficit into a 56-54 lead with under 20 seconds left in the game.
 
The Dragons move on to play Mekeel Christian in the Class A semi finals in Glens Falls on 3/5/30 at 6:30 p.m.

Focused play in the second half helped as the Dragons outscored the Spartans 34-22 in the final two frames. That was different than the first half when the Spartans used excellent synergy to grab a 33-25 lead at the midway point. Queensbury was in full control of the opening two quarters as they played stifling defense and were efficient on offense.

Gloversville had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Dante Bouchard paced the Dragons with 31 points. Joseph Rowback contributed 15 points. Kadyn Ruggeri had 10 points. 
The Dragons connected on 5 baskets from downtown. 
Dante Bouchard made 3 three-pointers. 
Gloversville shot with superb accuracy from the charity stripe as they made 81.8%, 18 of 22. 

Queensbury had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Bryce Bleibtrey led the Spartans with 14 points. Sean Collins powered in 12 points. Jason Rodriguez added 11 points. Nathan Johnson scored 7 points. 
Queensbury buried 9 buckets from jimmer range. 
Sean Collins nailed 3 three-pointers.
