Colonie held off Schalmont 57-49 in a back and forth game that produced nine lead changes. Jayla Tyler was a force on the offensive end of the floor for the Garnet Raiders leading the way with 21 points.

The Garnet Raiders produced a last period push getting the better of the Sabres 24-16 after the game was tied (33-33) after the third quarter.

Colonie held a slight 1-point advantage heading into the second quarter. The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Schalmont nosing in front.

The two squads refused to give ground through three quarters as the score was tied at 33. Both teams had five point leads at different parts of the frame.
