Albany Academy ran out to a 25-6 first quarter lead on their way to a 73-32 win over Southwestern in the NYSPHSAA Class B semi-final. The Bears advance to the title game tomorrow at HVCC at 5:15 p.m. They will play the winner of the Utica Notre Dame vs Putnam Valley contest.

Albany Academy led 25-6 after one quarter, 35-22 at the half and 61-26 after the third period.

The Bears had three players go for twenty or more points. Bella Vincent scored 21 points, including her 1000th career point in the second half. Eva Gitto and Alex Leonard added 20 points each.

Southwestern was led by Reece Beaver's 22 points.
