Notre Dame used a fourth quarter rally to knock off Albany Academy 55-51 in the Class B NYSPHSAA title game. Ella Trinkaus guided the victors with 29 points and was a huge part of Notre Dame's 24-11 fourth quarter outburst.

The Jugglers outscored Albany Academy 37-23 in the final sixteen minutes. That was different than the first half when Albany Academy darted out to a 28-18 lead at the midway point.

Albany Academy raced out to an early 9-0 lead and was up ten points at the end of the first quarter, 18-8.

The Bears were up by fourteen points in the second quarter, 24-10, before Notre Dame ran out eight straight points to get themselves back into the contest. Still Albany Academy led by 10 points at the break.

Academy extended the lead right out of the break but the Jugglers had a 9-0 surge to get back to within three points at 30-27. The Bears closed the quarter on a 10-4 run and led by nine points heading into the final frame, 40-31

Emma Johson hit a three pointer at 3:54 left in the game to tie things up at 43 each. After a couple of Bella Vincent free throws Albany Academy was back on top. Ella Trinkaus connected on a traditional three point play and gave the Jugglers their first lead of the game at 46-45 with just over three minutes left.

Notre Dame extended their lead to five points by making some late free throws and twice they grabbed offensive rebounds off of their free throw misses.

Ella Trinkaus led the Jugglers with 29 points. Maggie Trinkaus scored 12 points.

Albany Academy had a trio of players in double figure scoring. Liana Williams paced Albany Academy with 17 points. Eva Gitto added 15 points. Bella Vincent totaled 14 points.
