Albany defeated Ballston Spa, 51-27, as part of the MVP Arena Challenge held in downtown Albany.
The Falcons jumped out to a quick 8-0 lead but the Scotties battled back to close the deficit to 15-12 at the end of the 1Q.
With Albany leading 17-12 midway through the second quarter they were whistled with a two shot foul and a two shot technical foul. Ballston Spa only connected on one of the four free throws and the Falcons then closed the half on a 9-0 run to give themselves a cushion at the break, 26-13.
Albany outscored Ballston Spa 25-14 in the second half.
