Catskill got a hard-fought 43-36 road victory over Ichabod Crane on Tuesday afternoon. In a back-and-forth matchup, Catskill used a strong defensive effort in the fourth quarter to secure the win, holding the Riders to just six points in the final frame.

Ichabod Crane kept pace early, taking a 22-21 lead into halftime behind a balanced offensive attack. Caroline Rapport led the Riders with 13 points, including three three-pointers, while Ariana Henry added six points. Madison Clark and Nora Clickman each contributed four.

Catskill held a slim 33-30 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Their defensive adjustments in the second half proved to be the difference, limiting Ichabod Crane’s offensive output and closing out the game with a strong finish.

The Cats were paced in scoring by Ava Edmund with 24 points, Alessia Salierno 11 points, Natalia DiCaprio 6 points.

With the victory, Catskill finished the regular season with an 18-2 record. Ichabod Crane finish at 8-12.
