Sixth-seeded Tamarac secured a decisive 55-23 victory over No. 11 Chatham in the Class B sectional game, dominating the second half to advance in the tournament. The Bengals play Catskill on 3/1 at Mechanicville at 6:00 p.m.

Both squads started slow, managing just six combined points in the opening quarter. The teams found some rhythm in the second with Tamarac outscoring Chatham 16-14 to take a narrow halftime lead, 20-16. The third quarter proved to be the turning point, as Tamarac exploded for 25 points while holding Chatham to just six. The defensive intensity carried into the final frame, with Chatham managing only one point as Tamarac cruised to victory.

Kayla Beaudoin led all scorers with 15 points, Elizabeth Darling added 14 points, Morgan Hayden chipped in seven points, while Jaiana Llanos and Lailie Frierson each contributed five.

Marsy Chudy led the way with six points for the Panthers, while Addi Perry, Taylor VanWie and Grace Brennan each scored four points.
