Columbia powered past Averill Park with a decisive 65-43 victory on Thursday night, fueled by dominant performances from Kendyl Ouimette and Sarah Rainville. The Blue Devils move on to the Class AA title game on Monday at HVCC vs Catholic Central at 6:00 pm.

The Blue Devils set the tone early, storming out to a 20-8 lead in the first quarter. Averill Park fought to keep pace but struggled to close the gap as Columbia continued its strong play on both ends of the court. By halftime, Columbia held a comfortable 32-20 advantage and extended its lead further with a 19-point third quarter.

Ouimette and Rainville led the charge for Columbia, each finishing with 19 points. Alivia Landy also contributed with 11 points, helping Columbia maintain control throughout the game.

Averill Park was led by Elizabeth Hansen’s 13 points and Kayleigh Ahern’s four three-pointers, which accounted for all of her 12 points.
