Boys Varsity Final:
Watervliet used a 10-2 run in the last 4:10 of the game to seal the victory over Schalmont. Schalmont was down as many as 16 points in the 3rd quarter but rallied to cut the deficit to 4, 53-49, with a Mike Tommasone free throw. Watervliet’s Joey Atkins scored 6 of his game high 18 points during the decisive end game run for the Cannoneers. Jesse O’Dell led the Sabres with 16 points.

Boys Varsity Final:
-Schenectady’s Jay-Quan Johnson's 10 first quarter points helped the Patriots open up a 5 point lead over Green Tech after the opening period.
-Green Tech opened the second quarter on a 13-1 run turning a 5 point deficit into a 7 point lead with 5 minutes left in the 2Q, which turned out to be their biggest lead of the game. Lakyi Russell scored 8 of those points including connecting on back to back 3 three pointers.
-Schenectady countered with a 7-1 run to tie it at 28 on a Tyrone Pettway bucket.
-Green Tech then responded with an 8-2 run to go up 36-30 with 1:48 left in the half.
-Schenectady scored the last 7 points of the half to take a 37-36 lead at the half.
-Schenectady took their biggest lead of the night (8 points) with 3:13 left in the 3Q. They continued to get to the free throw line as they were attacking the hoop almost every trip.
-Green Tech closed the 3rd quarter on a 10-4 run to cut the deficit to 2 points, 60-58, after 3 periods.
-Green Tech jumped out to a 6 point lead in the 4Q and seems in control with 2:48 left in the contest.
-Schenectady continued to scrap and get to the free throw line and came all the way back to take a 1 point lead on a Twyquan Jenkins basket with only 1:03 left in the game. Jay-Quan Johnson then stole an inbound pass and fed Cameron Coles for the hoop to put Schenectady up 3.
-After a Josh Rodriguez basket with 0:36 left Green Tech cut the Schenectady lead to 1. They are forced to foul and Schenectady can’t convert on 4 straight FT attempts. This gave Green Tech the ball with 8 seconds left. Lakyi Russell is fouled with 5 seconds left just across half court. He converts both attempts leaving Schenectady one last possession. The Patriots long 3 point attempt didn't fall. Green Tech made 2 FT’s with 0.5 seconds left to win 82-79.
